Free Advance Screening Opportunity!
The upcoming Warner Bros. film, The Good Lie, is based on a true story of refugees from Sudan known as “The Lost Boys” who come to America fifteen years after being orphaned by a brutal civil war. The film tells the story of their trying journey from Sudan to America and the pleasures and hardships of adjusting to a new life in America. The movie stars Reese Witherspoon and Corey Stoll.
Warner Bros. is partnering with Us Together, a nonprofit mutual assistance agency serving the needs of refugees and immigrants throughout Ohio, and offering free advance screenings of the movie. Guests of Us Together have the option of viewing The Good Lie on two different dates:
- October 21st at 7:00pm at the Cinemark Valley View Theater

Screenings are first-come, first-serve so please arrive early for seating and meet and greet with resettled refugees and agency staff. Q&A will occur immediately following the film.
