The Lakewood City School District is an award-winning public school district of about 4,200 students Students walk to neighborhood schools and enjoy a wide variety of programming to meet the educational needs of every student. We celebrate the cultural and linguistic diversity of its students and their families. We serve nearly 300 English/Multilingual Learners speaking over 30 different languages. Lakewood’s educators promote collaboration among families, educators, and community members. Together, we successfully support our English/Multilingual learners as they gain skills for life.
