Cleveland Catholic Charities - Migration and Refugee Services
Since 1948, Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services has been working to resettle refugees throughout Northeast Ohio. We welcome refugees, asylees, and immigrants from around the world who have been forced to flee their homes in fear of persecution. We “welcome the stranger” by providing services that help individuals adapt and thrive to life in America.
Greater Cleveland Works
As the workforce development board for Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, we connect people to jobs and employers to talent, raise and distribute funding to strengthen the system, and collaborate with partners to improve job quality, reduce racial disparities, and grow the regional economy. We operate the OhioMeansJobs center at 1910 Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland. We are able to serve everyone who is a resident of Cuyahoga County and authorized to work in the United States.
Neighborhood Family Practice
NFP is the primary healthcare provider for the three refugee resettlement agencies in greater Cleveland and we work with each agency daily to provide newly arriving refugees their two health screens at NFP’s Ridge Community Health Center. The team is led by a refugee clinic coordinator and consists of medical providers, a nurse coordinator, medical assistants and a patient advocate. At the screening, refugee patients receive a health history, physical exam, blood work, vaccinations, a visual screening, hearing test and mental health screening.
