Help refugee students with school enrollment process, follow up with the families to help them start school and help remove the barriers, provide school enrollment orientations and culture orientations to the new students and their parents, collaborate with the community agencies to create tutoring and mentoring programs and support sessions for the students & parents, and help the refugee families in crisis and provide them with basic needs and referral them to the community resources.
Cuyahoga County Welcome Center
The Cuyahoga County Welcome Center is a multi-service center serving residents who are immigrants, refugees, and those with limited English proficiency by providing a centralized access point to human and social services in Cuyahoga County . Within the Welcome Center, the County partners with community service organizations to work with individuals and families, identify their specific needs, and connect them to available resources.

As the workforce development board for Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, we connect people to jobs and employers to talent, raise and distribute funding to strengthen the system, and collaborate with partners to improve job quality, reduce racial disparities, and grow the regional economy. We operate the OhioMeansJobs center at 1910 Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland. We are able to serve everyone who is a resident of Cuyahoga County and authorized to work in the United States.
