On October 30, 2014, Cleveland City Hall hosted the first Refugee Summit, in partnership with the Refugee Services Collaborative of Greater Cleveland. The Summit included a morning hearing directly with City Council members, followed by an informal lunch with Mayor Frank Jackson. The day culminated with a public forum to share info about refugees. The forum featured panels of refugees, business owners/landlords, and refugee service providers. Many thanks to Councilman Joe Cimperman for initiating the conversation, and also to City Club CEO Dan Moulthrop for moderating the afternoon session.
The ClevelandPeople.com link below provides a collection of video clips and images from the Summit. (Thanks to Dan Hanson for capturing and sharing.)
