During the week of September 13-21, 2014, Welcoming America and its partners across the country are hosting National Welcoming Week, a nationwide event that highlights the contributions of immigrants to American communities. Throughout the country, these events bring together immigrants and U.S.-born community members in a spirit of unity.
In greater Cleveland, members of the Refugee Services Collaborative of Greater Cleveland have assembled a wide range of activities all over town, introducing community members to the diversity of refugee- and immigrant-owned businesses. View jewelry making demonstrations, sample ethnic food and drink, enjoy live music, meet a henna artist, obtain free health screenings, play soccer!
